Parametric and Non Parametric measures to compare fixed and random effects of malt barley genotypes

چکیده

AMMI analysis of 21 malt barley genotypes evaluated at nine locations north western plains zone revealed highly significant variation due to environments (61.8%), G x E interactions (19.5%) and (8.2%). Further, interaction effects were partitioned into seven principal components. stability Value measures (ASV1 ASV) had considered first two  components based on 54.1% total variations recommended (PL926, PL931, RD2849) (BH1036, respectively. Modified Stability Values (MASV1 and  MASV) exploited nearly 97.6% variations, which BH1036, DWRB219, RD2849 DWRB219,  PL926 identified for  stable yield performance. Geometric Mean (GM)  based BLUP was in favour BH1036 DWRB221 while corresponding Harmonic values,  DWRB219, would be choice. Relative Performance Genotypic (RPGV) favored , (HMRPGV) measure favoured DWRB220 genotypes. Non parametric composite measure, NPi (1) suggested that UPB1097, RD3029, DWRB218 suitable,  whereas G4 preferable  as per values  NPi(2) NPi(3)  DWRB160. The NPi(4)  found DWRB160 choice this zone. Measures MASV, MASV1, Si1, Si3, Si4, Si5,Si6 ,Si7, Si2, (1), ASV ASV1 accounted more component, whereas (2), (3), (4), Average,  GM, HM,  Mean,  PRVG, HMPRVG major contributors  second component. Small cluster standard deviation (Stdev) with CV, IPC4 IPC7 placed quadrant. Smallest IPC1 IPC6 also observed Large comprised NPi(1), Si2 ,Si5 ,Si6 ASV1.  HM, PRVG random grouped average last quadrant adjacent NPi(2), NPi(3), same Close association among the been adaptability present study Biplot considering components.. Evaluation of Grain Yield Stability of Durum Wheat Genotypes Using Parametric and Non-Parametric Methods

Durum wheat (Triticum turgidum L.), like most other crops, is affected by various stresses. Therefore, cultivars that, in addition to the ability to produce higher yields, can maintain their yield potential in different years and locations are considered superior cultivars. In order to obtain high-yielding and stable genotypes of durum wheat, 16 lines with two control cultivars Dehdasht and Sey...
